Keira Brown, Master’s Level Clinical Social Worker

Practicing since: 2026
Keira Brown is pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work from Salisbury University. Her professional experience as a care coordinator and behavior technician inspired her to pursue a career in mental health counseling. While supporting children, adults, and families as they face challenges, she has seen how trauma, stress, and limited access to resources can significantly affect a person’s emotional well-being. Becoming a mental health counselor allows her to combine her passion for advocacy with her commitment to helping individuals recognize their strengths, work through challenges, and build meaningful, fulfilling lives.
Keira’s areas of professional interest include trauma-informed care, children and adolescents, women’s mental health, and family relationships. She also has a strong interest in assisting clients with developing healthy coping skills, strengthening their relationships, and accessing the resources they need to thrive. As she continues developing her clinical skills, Keira is committed to building a well-rounded approach that emphasizes empathy, empowerment, and individualized care.
Clients will leave treatment feeling heard, understood, and empowered. Keira provides a safe, supportive environment where clients can gain insight into their experiences and develop practical tools to navigate challenges, build confidence, and move forward with hope. Guided by faith, empathy, and resilience, she honors each client’s individual experiences and beliefs while supporting them in identifying their own goals for healing. Ultimately, her goal is to provide compassionate, client-centered care that fosters growth, resilience, and meaningful change. Keira Brown is under the clinical supervision of Eric Kuessner, LCSW-C, licensed in the State of Maryland (#22502).
